It started as a dream.

Honeycutt Air Conditioning was built on a dream of bringing superior customer service to Austin County.

"We started with a dream and a desire to bring service to the community with honesty and integrity," co-founder Wendy Honeycutt said.
She and her husband Steve Honeycutt started the business in 1984 and now employ 13 additional personnel.

Honeycutt Air Conditioning is a Trane dealer and services all makes and models. Over 25 years, the business has grown to accommodate the needs of an ever-expanding Austin County.

While Honeycutt Air Conditioning feels blessed to have grown, it still prides itself on doing things the old fashioned way.

"We enjoy maintaining a relationship with our customers and putting them first," Wendy Honeycutt said. "We like providing a service that is dependable, and we like that our customers can base their decision on our reputation and our history of service to the county."

And the company plans on continuing its tradition of superior customer service.

"We cannot settle for idle mediocrity, but must always be willing to change and be eager to strive for excellence," Honeycutt said.

The business offers 24-hour on-call emergency service and was voted Best Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Austin County in 2008.
